Milan, 25th July 2019 – GAMA International will be present at Labelexpo Europe, Brussels, at Hall 11 – stand F16, together with its local dealer Advanced Machinery. Products introduced will include viscometers, sleeve storage systems, anilox and photopolymer cleaning systems.
Among the GAMA viscometers, a focus will be dedicated to the G34 system, specific for controlling viscosity and temperature of UV inks and G32 for water-based varnishes.
Label production is a key target application of UV ink. The variety of label press solutions ranges from basic models to very sophisticated high-speed label presses, and it also includes hybrid systems combining flexo printing and inkjet in roll-to-roll or roll-to-sheet configurations. In this ink flow, the UV ink needs a control especially for temperature, when it goes from the inkjet system to the flexo press.
The advantage of a viscometer consists in speeding up the production by offering automatic ink control, including viscosity, temperature and pH variables in case of water-based inks. The system integrates in the information flow of the printer and in the management system implemented in the production unit.
In addition to viscometers, GAMA International will introduce its sleeve storage systems and the flexo plate cleaning systems, which were presented this year at all the fairs where GAMA International participated so far, and where they received a lot of interest.
