GAMA International will participate in the K show – Hall 4 Stand D12

In evidenza

Milan, 22nd August 2022 – The next K show, which will take place from 19th to 26th October 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany, will be an opportunity for GAMA International to meet converters from all over the world and to present its new updated GAMA viscometers’ line. «Climate change made us reflect on the increased need for cool inks – says Sante Conselvan, Managing Director at GAMA International. – We have therefore improved the heat exchangers of our viscometers, which are now able to cool or heat the inks faster».

GAMA products are all made in Italy and they boast quality certifications, such as IQNET, CSQ, ATEX and the IECEx international certificate. They include viscometers for flexo and rotogravure printing, ink treatment and print control technologies.

The CCSone – Consumption Control System has been recently launched on the market as part of the GAMA ink treatment line. It is an innovative and indispensable product that can detect ink consumption in real time through an interface physically connected to the ink container, generating information about ink consumption and the ink level during the printing process.

CCSone is suitable for both flexo and rotogravure printing processes and its operating principle is based on the control and measurement of the pressure inside the container or basin. In addition to ink, applications include cold seal, glow, varnish lacquer and adhesive materials.

«This product has aroused considerable interest, since, thanks to the data it generates on the consumption of individual inks, it can be inserted into the corporate data flow, managed with an ERP system, with the advantage of keeping the entire packaging production process under control», explains Dario Calvalcoli, Marketing Manager at GAMA International. Besides calculating the total ink consumption per product, the system also provides consumption data per printed metre: this piece of information is helpful to calculate the ink needed for a similar job as regards colours, but with a different print run.

Sleeve Storage System: a storage solution for sleeves, anilox and plates

GAMA International also offers a renewed solution for the storage of sleeves, anilox and plates to flexo printers and converters: the Sleeve Storage System. The intralogistic solution consists of an automatic or manual Sleeve Storage System that minimizes the manual operations of the sleeve handling staff, thanks to an automatism for the collection/deposit of the sleeves.

«GAMA International will welcome all visitors at its stand D12 at Hall 4: our mission is to be close to converters and to listen to their needs, for whom we always work to always implement our products», concludes Elisa Conselvan, Communications Manager at GAMA International.

GAMA International will launch its G1000 automatic Ink Quality Control system at K 2019

GAMA International will launch its G1000 automatic ink quality control system at K 2019 in Dusseldorf, 16th-23rd October, at Hall 10, stand H26. For the company, the G1000 represents its top of the ink control systems line, fully customizable.

The G1000 has been developed to keep ink quality stable during the printing process and to reduce solvent and ink consumption. It’s not a simple viscometer, it is a complete automatic system, equipped with viscosity and temperature control, magnetic filter, and sophisticated production controls and customized for each rotogravure machine.

This new system displays several advantages: the viscosity and temperature control of ink allows to reduce the use of solvent and ink, quicker start-ups and waste reduction. Furthermore It reduces ink blade lines, thanks to magnetic filter, attracting steel filings. All those features help making the printing process more productive and efficient.

«Thanks to the adoption of a new heat exchanger, we have achieved remarkably higher performances than previous solutions in stabilization of ink temperature», says Sante Conselvan, Sales Director of GAMA International. «Based on tests carried out during production at different temperatures, a minimum saving of 10% of ink and 25% of solvent was observed. It was calculated a return on investment in only 12 months.».
